About The Position

The Server works in the community restaurant to help create an exceptional dining experience for residents, build relationships with them, and provide the service expected in a favorite restaurant. The role follows a part-time, varied schedule and includes restaurant service and dining-room operations.

The position requires a welcoming, compassionate approach and strong customer-service presentation. A Food Handler’s Card must be held or obtained through Spectrum, as required by state or county regulations. Applicants under 18 must provide proper schoolwork authorization when applicable.

Requirements

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for residents.
• If under 18, provide proper schoolwork authorization, if applicable.
• Currently hold a Food Handler’s Card or be willing to obtain one through Spectrum, as required by state and/or county regulations.
• Strong customer-service presentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct residents to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes, and assist with drink selection.
• Communicate specific resident orders using the point-of-sale system.
• Complete dining-room opening and closing duties as established by the community.
