About The Position

Clearwater Ahwatukee, a luxury senior living community in Phoenix, Arizona, is hiring a part-time Server. The Server helps create a pleasant and positive dining experience for residents by providing courteous, efficient service and maintaining dining areas. The role includes seating residents, taking and serving meal orders, assisting with menu selections, tracking meal attendance, and helping ensure residents feel welcome and comfortable. The Server also supports dining and kitchen operations, including food-service area setup and cleanup, stocking, dishwashing, delivery breakdown, and delivering meals to resident rooms when needed. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, health requirements including TB, and background clearances as required by government regulations. Restaurant or food-service experience and a Serve Safe certificate are preferred. Responsibilities

Take written food orders and serve meals to residents, family members, and guests professionally, efficiently, and courteously.
Assist residents with meal and menu selections as necessary or requested.
Use appropriate dining etiquette, including serving from the left and clearing used dishes between courses.
Review residents’ dietary needs as outlined by the Culinary Director.
Track resident attendance at meals and report it promptly to the appropriate person.
Greet and seat residents, making extra efforts to help new residents feel welcome and comfortable.
Maintain a clean, sanitary dining area and follow policies for proper food handling and service.
Treat residents, associates, and guests with tact and friendliness.
Clean and reset tables and return dishes to the kitchen.
Clean and set up dining and food-service areas, including stocking condiments and removing old items.
Cooperate with and assist kitchen and dining services to support a positive resident dining experience.
Help break down deliveries, put away stock, and wash dishes as needed.
Deliver meals to resident rooms when required and collect trays after meal service.
Follow Clearwater standards and regulations to support safe and efficient community operations.
Maintain a positive, professional image and high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag.
Represent Clearwater’s principles and core values in daily work.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required.
