About The Position

As a Part-Time Server, you’ll do more than serve meals—you’ll create meaningful dining experiences that bring joy to residents. You’ll work as part of a collaborative team, share ideas, respond thoughtfully to feedback, and contribute to a positive, caring community environment. The role involves supporting casual and fine dining service, maintaining dining areas, delivering room service, and responding kindly to residents’ comments and concerns.

Requirements

Must be at least 15 years old.
Availability to work breakfast and lunch shifts.
No previous work experience is required.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
Ability to secure required food handler permits, as required by local ordinances, within two weeks of hire.
If required based on age and state of residence, obtain and submit a work permit to the Community at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

Assist residents in Casual Dining by carrying trays, offering beverages, and proactively meeting service needs.
Greet tables warmly, guide residents through menu selections, accurately take orders, and serve courses from beverages to desserts in Fine Dining.
Clear and reset tables, handle dishes carefully, fill and refill water carafes, and set tables before meals.
Maintain cleanliness and organization by vacuuming carpets, cleaning the salad bar, and completing other cleaning tasks as needed.
Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
Listen and respond kindly to resident comments or concerns, and share feedback with a manager or supervisor when needed.
Complete support work and other tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
