About The Position

The Server provides quick, efficient, and pleasant food and beverage service to residents and guests, ensuring their needs are met. The role involves taking and communicating orders, delivering food and beverages in a timely manner, responding promptly to requests, bussing and resetting tables, and completing assigned side work. Servers are expected to maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, and coworkers.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills for using POS and payroll systems.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Ability to solve practical problems and handle situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and coworkers.
• Complete food safety training to obtain and/or maintain any required local, state, or county food-handling or sanitation licenses and certificates.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service experience is preferred; training will be provided if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Accept food orders, communicate them to the kitchen, and deliver food and beverages to residents and/or guests in a timely manner.
• Respond quickly to residents’ and guests’ needs and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Bus and reset tables and complete assigned side work.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, and coworkers.
