About The Position

Forefront is seeking a part-time Server to support culinary and food services in a healthcare setting. The role helps maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment and supports residents’ healing and well-being. The Server sets up dining areas and meal trays, follows food safety guidelines, and observes residents’ dietary restrictions. This hourly position includes days, evenings, some weekends, and some holidays.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Basic food preparation knowledge.
Knowledge of sanitation and safety practices.

Nice To Haves

One year of food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the cook or supervisor with food preparation and service according to established procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
Deliver residents’ meal carts and set up and clean assigned dining areas.
Record refrigerator temperatures accurately; clean and stock refrigerators as needed.
Wash and store dishes and maintain kitchen sanitation and cleanliness.
Follow applicable federal, state, and community rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Comply with facility and departmental policies, including those concerning human resources, ethics, health and safety, compliance, patient rights, confidentiality, HIPAA, and accrediting agency standards.
Attend department meetings as required.
Take responsibility for personal and professional growth and maintain required certifications or licenses, if applicable.
Complete mandatory annual training and competencies.
Set up dining areas and meal trays, follow food safety guidelines, and accommodate residents’ dietary restrictions.
