About The Position
Grinders Above and Beyond is a family-owned restaurant serving food since 1976. The Server greets guests warmly and works to provide an excellent dining experience. After training, the Server is expected to know the food and beverage items on the menu, arrange and set up tables in an assigned section, manage a server bank and guest payments, and support other staff as a team player. The position requires serving guests quickly and accurately and handling up to five tables per section.
Requirements
- Ability to perform all job descriptions and tasks assigned by management.
- Team-oriented approach and willingness to support other staff.
- Ability to serve guests speedily and accurately.
- Ability to handle five tables per section.
Responsibilities
- Learn the food and beverage items offered on the menu after training.
- Greet guests warmly and help ensure they have a positive dining experience.
- Arrange and set up guests’ tables in the assigned section.
- Maintain a server bank, count back change, and cash out guests.
- Perform job duties and tasks assigned by management.
- Support other staff as a team player.
- Serve guests speedily and accurately.
- Handle five tables per section.
