About The Position

Chevre Coconut Grove is seeking experienced, passionate, detail-driven, guest-focused Servers who thrive in a fast-paced, fun, vibrant, and professional environment and have a passion for hospitality. Servers help ensure guests have an enjoyable, well-timed dining experience by providing attentive service, knowledgeable food and beverage recommendations, and a professional, inviting presence. The position includes maintaining the cleanliness of tables and dining areas and completing opening, running, and closing side work. Duties, tasks, schedules, and requirements may change at any time based on guest requests or hotel needs. The job description does not promise employment or create an employment contract.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a high-end, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable work ethic.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for the duration of shifts.
• Ability to lift, move, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each guest's dining experience is enjoyable, well-timed, and pleasant.
• Provide a professional and inviting attitude when interacting with guests and employees.
• Offer knowledgeable recommendations on food and drink selections.
• Thoroughly answer questions about food and beverage preparation.
• Make managers aware of special accommodations, such as food allergies, before reporting them to the kitchen.
• Maintain the cleanliness of tables and dining areas around guests.
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work related to job duties.
• Check on guests during meals to ensure satisfaction and address requests or concerns.
