About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Sandwich Maker/Prep Cook to join the kitchen team, working mostly PM shifts. The role supports kitchen operations through ingredient preparation, cooking—particularly sandwiches—station setup and maintenance, stocking, cleaning, and quality control. The employee works under the supervision of senior chefs and helps maintain a smooth, efficient kitchen environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen role, preferably as a Sandwich Maker/Prep Cook or in a similar position.
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to reliably commute to Miami or plan to relocate before starting work.

Nice To Haves

• Food handler's certification (preferred or required based on location).

Responsibilities

• Assemble sandwiches and other dishes according to recipes; slice meats, prepare ingredients such as vegetables and sauces, and cook items on grills or stoves.
• Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure quality and consistency.
• Follow recipes and kitchen procedures while maintaining high food safety standards.
• Support kitchen staff and senior chefs in executing menu items efficiently.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations and kitchen areas.
• Monitor food stock levels and inform the kitchen team when supplies need restocking.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to support smooth service.
