About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Sandwich Maker/Prep Cook to join the kitchen team, working mostly PM shifts. The role supports kitchen operations through ingredient preparation, cooking with a focus on sandwiches, station setup and maintenance, stocking ingredients, cleaning, and meeting quality standards. The position works under the supervision of senior chefs and helps maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen role, preferably as a Sandwich Maker/Prep Cook or in a similar position.
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work in Miami (required).

Nice To Haves

• Food handler's certification (preferred or required based on location).

Responsibilities

• Assemble sandwiches and other dishes following recipes, including slicing meats, preparing vegetables and sauces, and cooking items on grills or stoves.
• Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure quality and consistency.
• Follow recipes and kitchen procedures while maintaining high food safety standards.
• Support kitchen staff and senior chefs in efficiently executing menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.
• Monitor food stock levels and inform the kitchen team when supplies need restocking.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
