About The Position

The Port, a cocktail lounge at The St. James Hotel in Red Wing, is seeking enthusiastic servers to provide excellent hospitality and create memorable dining and cocktail experiences. Servers work in a warm, welcoming, elevated atmosphere and serve multiple guest tables as determined by management. They check guest identification and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and local regulations, collaborate and communicate with guests and team members, perform assigned preparatory duties such as polishing and folding, and follow Liquor Certification training.

Requirements

Demonstrate good verbal, written, and communication skills.
Show attention to detail and strong interpersonal relationships with guests and employees.

Responsibilities

Serve multiple tables of guests simultaneously, as determined by management.
Check guests’ identification and serve alcoholic drinks in compliance with state and local regulations.
Work as part of a team and communicate with team members and guests.
Perform assigned preparatory duties, such as polishing and folding.
Work in compliance with Liquor Certification training.
