About The Position
Streets of New York is seeking an enthusiastic, friendly Server to welcome guests and provide a memorable dining experience at its casual pizza restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves helping guests with menu choices and dietary needs, taking and delivering orders, monitoring guest satisfaction, processing payments, and maintaining a clean dining area. Servers work collaboratively with kitchen staff and the restaurant team, follow health and safety requirements, and participate in training, meetings, and events. The position may be full-time or part-time and requires flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements

- Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain it before starting.
- Positive attitude and passion for the food and beverage industry.
- Must be at least 19 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment authorization will be submitted through E-Verify.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
- Know menu items and help guests place orders based on their tastes, preferences, diets, or allergies.
- Know current promotions, specials, and offers and apply them according to restaurant policies.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery to tables.
- Check in with guests periodically to monitor their dining experience and satisfaction.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Keep tables clean and organized, clear dishes promptly, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support seamless service and communication.
- Follow health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
- Perform light lifting to stock products or clean and maintain the dining room.
- Participate in team training, meetings, and events to enhance knowledge and skills.
