About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Holliday Farms in Zionsville, Indiana. The role is scheduled Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with pay of $17 to $21.50 per hour. Servers help create a welcoming dining experience for residents by greeting and engaging them, preparing for meal service, maintaining clean dining areas, and communicating observations about residents’ eating habits and attendance to supervisors and Wellness.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Have a positive and energetic attitude and a desire to work with residents.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Obtain criminal clearance.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, help them feel welcome, and be present and engaged in the dining room.
Mingle with and entertain residents and foster an environment where they can connect.
Prepare for meal service by setting tables, preparing salads, rolling silverware, and completing other preparation tasks.
Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a tidy dining area.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals are observed.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
