About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Vitalia Rockside in Seven Hills, Ohio. The Server welcomes residents, helps create a sociable dining experience, prepares tables and food items for service, and keeps the dining area clean. The role also includes communicating with supervisors and Wellness staff about residents’ poor dietary habits, unusual appetite changes, or absences from meals. The listed schedule is Monday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pay is $15 to $23.25 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Obtain criminal clearance.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, make them feel welcome, and be present in the dining room.
Mingle with and entertain residents and foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service, prepare salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a clean dining area.
Notify supervisors and Wellness staff when residents have poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or are absent from meals.
