About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Vitalia Rockside in Seven Hills, Ohio. The position is scheduled Fridays and Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with pay of $15 to $23.25 per hour. The Server welcomes residents and helps create an inviting, engaging dining environment. The role also involves preparing dining areas and food-service items, maintaining cleanliness, and communicating observations about residents’ eating habits and attendance to supervisors and Wellness.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of eighth-grade proficiency.
Have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Receive criminal clearance.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, make them feel welcome, and be present in the dining room.
Mingle with and entertain residents and foster an environment where they can connect.
Prepare tables for service, prepare salads for upcoming meals, and roll silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a clean community dining area.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or absences from meals are observed.
