Server 4pm-7pm $15-23.25 (Part Time)
About The Position
The Server welcomes residents and helps create a friendly, engaging dining-room environment where residents can connect. The role includes preparing tables and food items for meal service, rolling silverware, bussing tables, and sweeping floors. Servers also communicate with supervisors and Wellness when they notice poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or residents missing meals. This is a part-time position at Vitalia Solon in Solon, Ohio. The schedule is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The listed pay range is $15 to $23.25 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of eighth-grade proficiency.
- Have a positive, energetic attitude and a strong commitment to residents.
- Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
- Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
- Receive criminal clearance.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents, make them feel welcome, and be present and engaging in the dining room.
- Mingle and entertain residents and foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables and salads for service and roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness about poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or residents absent from meals.
