About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Vitalia Rockside in Seven Hills, Ohio. The role is scheduled Mondays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with pay of $15 to $23.25 per hour. Servers welcome residents, create a friendly dining-room atmosphere, prepare for meal service, maintain cleanliness, and communicate observations about residents’ eating habits and attendance to supervisors and Wellness staff.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, help them feel welcome, and be present and social in the dining room to foster connection.
Prepare for meal service by setting tables, preparing salads, and rolling silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a tidy community.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff about poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, and residents absent from meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
