Server 8am-1:30pm $15-21.50 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Madison located at 14001 Madison Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64145. This part-time position offers a pay range of $15 - $21.50 per hour and a shift schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm. As a Server, you will be responsible for greeting residents, being present in the dining room, mingling, entertaining, and fostering an environment where residents can connect. You will also be involved in prepping tables, salads, and rolling silverware, as well as bussing tables and sweeping floors. Additionally, you will communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding residents' dietary habits, appetite changes, and absences from meals.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Must be criminally cleared
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain
- Foster an environment where residents can connect
- Prep tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware
- Bus tables and sweep floors
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Assist persons after a fall
