About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a full-time Server at Crestone in Olathe, Kansas. The role pays $15–$22 per hour and is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Servers welcome residents and help create a warm, social dining-room environment. They prepare tables and food-service items, keep dining areas tidy, and communicate notable changes in residents’ appetites or meal attendance to supervisors and Wellness staff.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Have a positive, energetic attitude and a strong interest in working with residents.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and help them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service and prepare salads and other items for upcoming meals; roll silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to keep the community clean and presentable.
Inform supervisors and Wellness staff when poor dietary habits, unusual appetite changes, or resident absences from meals are observed.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
