About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Princeton in Lee's Summit, Missouri. The role is scheduled Mondays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and pays $15–$22 per hour. Servers welcome residents, help create a welcoming and engaging dining-room atmosphere, prepare tables and food-service items, maintain cleanliness, and communicate observations about residents' appetite and meal attendance to supervisors and Wellness.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
• Have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
• Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
• Obtain criminal clearance.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and help them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle with residents, entertain, and foster opportunities for residents to connect.
• Prepare tables for service, prepare salads for upcoming meals, and roll silverware.
• Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a clean community.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed.
• Notify supervisors and Wellness when residents are absent from meals.
