About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Madison in Kansas City, Missouri. The role focuses on welcoming residents and helping create a friendly, engaging dining-room experience. Servers prepare for meal service, assist with table setup and food preparation, maintain clean dining areas, and communicate observations about residents’ appetites or meal attendance to supervisors and Wellness staff. The posted schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Pay is $15–$22 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Must have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, help them feel welcome, and be present and engaging in the dining room.
Prepare tables, salads, and silverware for meal service.
Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a tidy community dining area.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff when residents show poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite, or are absent from meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
