About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Madison in Kansas City, Missouri. The position pays $15–$22 per hour and is scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Sundays from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Server helps create a welcoming dining experience for residents by greeting and engaging them, preparing for meal service, maintaining dining areas, and communicating observations about residents’ eating habits and attendance to supervisors and Wellness staff.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency with residents.
Must have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, make them feel welcome, and be present and sociable in the dining room to foster connections.
Prepare for meal service, including setting tables, preparing salads, and rolling silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to keep the community dining areas tidy.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, or when residents are absent from meals.
