About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Crestone in Olathe, Kansas. The position pays $15–$22 per hour and is scheduled Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Server helps create a welcoming, home-like dining experience for residents by greeting and engaging them, preparing for meal service, keeping dining areas clean, and communicating observed changes in residents’ eating habits or attendance to supervisors and Wellness staff.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Must have a positive, energetic attitude and a willingness to engage with residents.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, help them feel welcome, and be present and engaged in the dining room.
Mingle with and entertain residents and foster opportunities for residents to connect.
Prepare tables and meal-service items, including salads and rolled silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to keep the community clean.
Communicate to supervisors and Wellness staff when residents have poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or are absent from meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
