About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Crestone in Olathe, Kansas. The role is scheduled Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., at a pay range of $15–$22 per hour. Servers help create a welcoming, social dining experience for residents while preparing for meal service, maintaining cleanliness, and communicating relevant observations about residents’ eating habits and attendance to supervisors and Wellness staff.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
• Must have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
• Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, help them feel welcome, remain present in the dining room, mingle and entertain, and foster opportunities for residents to connect.
• Prepare for meal service by setting tables, preparing salads for upcoming meals, and rolling silverware.
• Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a clean community dining environment.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff when residents show poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or are absent from meals.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
