About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Gardens at Arkanshire in Springdale, Arkansas. The Server welcomes residents, helps create a friendly and engaging dining-room atmosphere, prepares tables and food-service items, maintains dining areas, and communicates observations about residents' appetites or meal attendance to supervisors and Wellness staff. The listed schedule is Monday and Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Pay is $15 to $19.75 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Have a positive and energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and help them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a clean dining area.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff when poor dietary habits, unusual appetite changes, or absences from meals are observed.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
