About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Carriage Court in Hilliard, Ohio. The role focuses on welcoming residents and fostering connection in the dining room, preparing for meal service, keeping dining areas clean, and communicating observations about residents’ eating habits and attendance to supervisors and Wellness staff. The position is scheduled Mondays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and pays $15–$19 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency with residents.
Must have a positive, energetic attitude and a strong interest in residents.
Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, help them feel welcome, remain present in the dining room, mingle and entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare for meal service by setting tables, preparing salads for upcoming meals, and rolling silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors to keep the community and dining areas tidy.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff when poor dietary habits, unusual appetite changes, or resident absences from meals are observed.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
