About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a full-time Server at Princeton in Lee's Summit, Missouri. The role focuses on creating a welcoming dining experience for residents by greeting and engaging them, preparing for meal service, keeping dining areas clean, and communicating observations about residents' appetites or meal attendance to supervisors and Wellness. The position is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and pays $15–$22 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
• Have a positive, energetic attitude and a strong interest in serving residents.
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
• Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
• Pass criminal clearance.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and help them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle and entertain residents, and foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables and food items for service, including salads, and roll silverware.
• Bus tables and sweep floors to keep the community clean.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when residents show poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite, or are absent from meals.
