About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Holliday Farms in Zionsville, Indiana. The position is scheduled Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with pay of $17 to $21.50 per hour. Servers help create a welcoming dining experience for residents by greeting and engaging them, preparing for meal service, maintaining a tidy dining area, and communicating notable changes in residents’ appetites or meal attendance to supervisors and Wellness staff.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
• Have a positive and energetic attitude and a willingness to engage with residents.
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
• Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Pass criminal clearance.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and help them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster opportunities for residents to connect.
• Prepare tables and food-service items, including salads and rolled silverware.
• Bus tables and sweep floors to keep the dining area clean.
• Tell supervisors and Wellness staff about poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or residents’ absence from meals.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist people after a fall.
