About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Fremont in Springfield, Missouri. The position is scheduled for Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with pay of $15 to $22.25 per hour. Servers help create a welcoming dining experience for residents by greeting and engaging with them, preparing for meals, maintaining clean dining areas, and communicating observations about residents’ appetites and meal attendance to supervisors and Wellness staff.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Must have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, including assisting people after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and help them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle with residents, entertain, and encourage social connection.
Prepare tables, salads, and silverware for meal service.
Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a clean community environment.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff about poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or residents missing meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, including assisting people after a fall.
