About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Fremont in Springfield, Missouri. The role focuses on welcoming residents, fostering connection in the dining room, preparing for meal service, maintaining a clean dining environment, and communicating relevant observations about residents’ appetites and meal attendance to supervisors and Wellness. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Pay is $15 to $22.25 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
• Have a positive and energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
• Be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
• Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, help them feel welcome, and remain present in the dining room to mingle, entertain, and encourage connection.
• Prepare tables and meal items, including salads and rolled silverware, in readiness for service.
• Bus tables and sweep floors to help maintain a tidy community.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when residents have poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or are absent from meals.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
