About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Princeton in Lee's Summit, Missouri. The role focuses on welcoming residents, creating a warm dining-room atmosphere, preparing for meal service, maintaining cleanliness, and communicating observations about residents' appetites and meal attendance to supervisors and Wellness staff. The position is scheduled Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and pays $15–$22 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Pass criminal clearance.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and help them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables and food items, such as salads, and roll silverware for meal service.
Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain a clean dining area.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff when poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals are observed.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
