About The Position

The Server works in the Food Sportsbook and Bar, providing guest service and maintaining the dining experience. The role includes taking orders through the POS system, serving food and beverages, handling payments, and helping maintain the restaurant. The position may also assist with food preparation, food handling, stocking, and cashier duties in a casino restaurant as needed. Work is primarily indoors in a controlled-temperature environment, with occasional exposure to outdoor climates. The casino operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and this position requires availability for varied hours, holidays, and weekends. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time.

Requirements

Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time (7+ hours).
Available for regularly scheduled work and able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.
Knowledgeable about Indiana Gaming and state ATC regulations, internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and maintain a proper dining experience.
Deliver items and fulfill guests’ needs.
Upsell items and offer drinks and desserts.
Remove courses, refill drinks, and replenish silverware.
Take orders and send them to kitchen staff through the POS system.
Maintain working knowledge of the menu, promotions, special events, and other property information.
Complete mandatory side work designated by the manager on duty to help maintain restaurant cleanliness and appearance.
Accurately collect payment for orders, follow point-of-sale procedures, and provide receipts to patrons.
Perform opening and closing duties as designated by the manager on duty.
Assist with food preparation, food handling, stocking, and cashier duties in a casino restaurant as needed.
Follow Indiana Gaming and state ATC regulations, internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Follow the Company Service Standards model.
Perform other duties as assigned.
