About The Position

The Caesars Sportsbook Server delivers and sets up food and beverage services for guests, assists with preparing food service supplies, and checks orders for proper presentation and completeness before delivery. The role coordinates timely delivery of food, beverages, amenities, and supplies while responding to guest requests and following applicable food-service safety precautions. The server provides courteous, respectful service, supports bus persons, processes guest check-ins and check-outs, closes checks upon delivery, and serves beverages. Other duties include completing side work and service preparation, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, staying informed about events and hospitality functions, and assisting with special events as needed. The role requires working at a fast pace in a diverse environment and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain a Bossier ABO Card and Responsible Vendor Certification.
Two years of food service experience.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle a 27-inch oval food server’s tray weighing 20 to 35 pounds.
Ability to move continuously throughout the restaurant during the shift.
Ability to push and/or pull 40 to 50 pounds on wheels.
Ability to initiate and engage in conversation professionally and in a friendly manner.
Must present a professional, pleasant, appealing, and approachable appearance.
Ability to become familiar with the wine and spirits menu, service, and knowledge.
Ability to follow directions.
Ability to lift, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch, push, and pull when necessary.
Ability to handle multiple functions at once while remaining organized and attentive to detail.
Must understand the position’s standards as directed by management.
Ability to tolerate hot temperatures in kitchen areas.
Ability to work inside and continuously maneuver throughout the outlet.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Obtain and deliver requested food items and necessary supplies in a timely manner.
Coordinate delivery schedules for amenities and food and beverage orders to accommodate guests.
Provide direction and support to bus persons.
Respond promptly to guest requests.
Follow applicable safety precautions in food service areas.
Treat guests courteously and respectfully.
Present items according to department guidelines.
Clock guests in and out and close guest checks upon delivery.
Serve beverages to guests upon delivery.
Perform side work, including filling sugar bowls and salt and pepper shakers, folding napkins, and organizing storage areas.
Complete service preparation functions as required.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Stay knowledgeable about upcoming events, hospitality functions, bars, and deliveries.
Assist with special events as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
