About The Position

The Caesars Sportsbook Server delivers and sets up food and beverage service for guests, assists with preparing food service supplies, and reviews orders for proper presentation and completeness before delivery. The role involves coordinating orders and amenities, accommodating guest requests, supporting bus persons, maintaining clean and organized service areas, and assisting with special events. The server must provide courteous, professional service and be able to work continuously in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain a Bossier ABO Card and Responsible Vendor Certification.
• Two years of food service experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle a 27-inch oval food server’s tray weighing 20 to 35 pounds.
• Ability to move continuously throughout the restaurant during a shift.
• Ability to push and/or pull 40 to 50 pounds on wheels.
• Ability to initiate and engage in conversation professionally and in a friendly manner.
• Professional and pleasant appearance that guests find appealing and approachable.
• Ability to become familiar with wine and spirits menus, service, and knowledge.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch, push, and pull when necessary.
• Ability to handle multiple functions at once while remaining organized and attentive to detail.
• Ability to understand position standards as directed by management.
• Ability to tolerate hot temperatures in kitchen areas.
• Ability to work indoors and maneuver continuously throughout the outlet.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and deliver requested food items and necessary supplies in a timely manner.
• Coordinate schedules for amenities and food and beverage orders to accommodate guests.
• Provide direction and support to bus persons.
• Respond promptly to guest requests.
• Follow applicable safety precautions in food service areas.
• Treat guests with courtesy and respect.
• Present items according to department guidelines.
• Clock guests in and out.
• Close guest checks upon delivery.
• Serve beverages to guests upon delivery.
• Perform side work, including filling sugar bowls and salt and pepper shakers, folding napkins, and organizing storage areas.
• Complete service preparation functions as required.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Stay knowledgeable about upcoming events, related hospitality functions, bars, and deliveries.
• Work at a fast pace in a diverse environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
• Assist with special events as needed.
