About The Position

As a Server at BRU Burger, you help ensure a positive dining experience by providing exceptional customer service, accurately taking orders, promptly serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean, organized dining area. A friendly and attentive demeanor contributes to the success of the restaurant. Training will be provided to candidates without prior serving experience. This position is classified as non-exempt under applicable wage and hour laws and is eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with applicable regulations. Compensation includes tips, and advancement opportunities are available within the restaurants. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and help them feel welcome.
Assist guests with menu selections and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
Provide prompt, courteous service and handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally.
Accurately take food and beverage orders, enter them into the restaurant's POS system, and verify accuracy before submitting them to the kitchen.
Coordinate special requests and dietary restrictions with kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly according to presentation standards, ensuring meals include appropriate condiments and accompaniments.
Monitor guest needs, refill drinks, clear plates, and provide additional items as requested.
Set up and clean tables before and after guest use; keep the dining area clean, maintained, and stocked with utensils, napkins, and condiments.
Assist with restaurant cleanliness, including dishwashing and other cleaning tasks as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to support efficient operations.
Communicate guest feedback and special requests to appropriate team members.
Promote specials, desserts, and beverages, and suggest additional items or upgrades.
Follow health and safety guidelines, including food safety regulations, and comply with company policies for alcohol service and guest conduct.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
