About The Position

As a Server at BRU Burger in Noblesville, you help ensure guests have a positive dining experience by providing attentive customer service, taking accurate orders, serving food and beverages promptly, and maintaining a clean, organized dining area. You work with guests and restaurant teammates to support smooth operations and contribute to the restaurant’s success. The position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with applicable regulations. Compensation includes tips, and opportunities for advancement within the restaurants are available. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and help them feel welcome.
Assist guests with menu selections and provide information about food and beverage offerings.
Provide prompt, courteous service and respond professionally to guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
Accurately take food and beverage orders, enter them into the POS system, check for accuracy, and communicate special requests or dietary restrictions to kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly and according to presentation standards, and ensure meals have the appropriate condiments and accompaniments.
Monitor guest needs, refill drinks, clear plates, and provide additional items as requested.
Set up and clean tables before and after guest use; keep the dining area clean, maintained, and stocked.
Assist with general restaurant cleanliness, including dishwashing and cleaning tasks as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers, and communicate guest feedback and special requests to teammates.
Promote daily specials, desserts, beverages, and additional items or upgrades.
Follow health, safety, and food safety guidelines, as well as company policies for alcohol service and guest conduct.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
