About The Position

Server 1 delivers food and beverage service to club members and guests, aiming to provide an exceptional, seamless dining experience that reflects Invited’s service standards. The role follows the 3-steps of service—warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells—and contributes to member satisfaction and retention. This is a non-lead position that also supports dining-area operations and other service duties as needed.

The Server reports to the F&B Director, Banquet Manager, or Restaurant Manager. Work includes serving orders promptly, maintaining knowledge of the à la carte menu and specials, welcoming members by name, supporting teammates, resolving service issues, completing side work, and keeping work areas clean, organized, and stocked. The position follows company, club, department, safety, and uniform standards; attends briefings; and takes on additional assignments as needed.

The role requires extended periods of standing and walking, work in varying temperatures and environments, and the ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, reaching, bending, and lifting or moving loads up to 100 pounds occasionally. Work hours follow the weekly schedule, with additional hours required to meet deadlines, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak clearly and effectively.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate well with team members.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases.
• Ability to climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, twist, bend, and fold or unfold items as required.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Sufficient visual acuity and the ability to talk and hear effectively.
• Availability for additional hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the position.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food and beverage service.
• Current Food Handler and Alcohol Server certifications as required by state and city regulations.
• Completion of Invited’s F&B Service Training program.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and beverage service to members and guests, executing orders in a timely manner.
• Follow Invited’s F&B service training program and service standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of the à la carte menu, daily features, and specials.
• Greet members by name and provide a warm welcome.
• Work with fellow employees to provide a seamless member and guest experience.
• Handle member and guest complaints using service recovery techniques and resolve issues promptly.
• Complete daily assignments and side work, keeping work areas organized, clean, and well-stocked.
• Follow club standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety.
• Support management by completing additional duties as assigned.
• Follow company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Maintain professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
• Follow safe working practices and encourage others to comply with safety guidelines.
• Maintain required role-related certifications and pursue personal and professional growth.
• Address challenges using available resources and work with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
• Attend daily briefings and participate in required activities.
• Wear a clean, neat uniform that meets club standards.
