About The Position

Server 1 delivers food and beverage service to members and guests, ensuring every interaction meets Invited’s service standards. The role applies the three steps of service—warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells—and works with team members to provide a seamless dining experience and support member satisfaction and retention. As a non-lead role, Server 1 also supports dining-area operations and assists with service duties as needed. The position reports to the F&B Director, Banquet Manager, or Restaurant Manager. It includes following the Invited F&B service training program, maintaining knowledge of the à la carte menu and daily specials, greeting members, responding to complaints using service-recovery techniques, completing side work, and maintaining clean, organized, safe, and well-stocked work areas. The role also involves attending briefings, following company and club policies, wearing a uniform that meets club standards, and taking on additional duties as assigned.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in Food and Beverage service.
Current Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certifications as required by state and city regulations.
Completion of Invited’s F&B Service Training program.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak clearly and effectively.
Ability to follow instructions and communicate well with team members.

Responsibilities

Maintain high service standards and follow the Invited F&B service training program.
Provide timely food and beverage service to members and guests.
Maintain complete knowledge of the à la carte menu, daily features, and specials.
Greet members by name and provide a warm welcome.
Work with fellow employees to create a seamless member and guest experience.
Handle member and guest complaints using service-recovery techniques and resolve issues promptly.
Complete daily assignments and side work, keeping work areas organized, clean, and well-stocked.
Follow club standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety.
Complete additional duties as assigned by management and assist others as needed.
Follow company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
Maintain professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
Follow safe working practices and encourage others to comply with safety guidelines.
Maintain any required role-related certifications and take initiative in personal and professional growth.
Address challenges using available resources and work with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
Attend daily briefings and participate in required activities.
Wear a clean, neat uniform that meets club standards.
