About The Position

Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Server to join Hotel 1928. The role involves taking accurate guest orders, ensuring food is delivered to the right guests and is properly prepared and presented, and maintaining a properly set up and clean station before, during, and after shifts. The Server must know the menu, preparation, and service procedures; follow applicable liquor regulations; total checks, present them to guests, and accept payment; and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Able to work flexible hours and shifts.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Team player.
Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

Take accurate food orders from guests.
Monitor food distribution, ensuring meals are delivered to the correct recipients and are properly prepared and presented.
Check the station before, during, and after the shift for proper setup and cleanliness.
Follow State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations when serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
Be familiar with all menu items, their preparation, and service procedures.
Total checks, present them to guests, and accept payment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
