About The Position

Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Public Areas Attendant to join Hotel 1928. The role maintains hotel public spaces and laundry operations to established cleanliness, quality, safety, and sanitation standards. The attendant also supports guest requests and other Housekeeping team members, providing professional, service-focused assistance.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including the lobby, restrooms, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area.
Clean public restrooms; dust furniture and pictures; and vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
Inspect public restrooms at least once per hour to ensure they are clean, neat, orderly, and properly stocked.
Remove spots, insects, debris, and other visible imperfections from public areas.
Clean and polish fixtures and keep public areas free of rubbish and debris.
Empty housekeeping carts of soiled linen and dispose of trash appropriately.
Retrieve soiled linens from housekeeping and transport them to the laundry area.
Sort linens by type and pre-treat stains as necessary.
Operate laundry equipment to wash and dry linens according to established procedures.
Fold, stack, organize, and store clean linens on designated shelving and linen carts.
Monitor laundry equipment and promptly report maintenance or repair needs.
Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and safe.
Deliver requested items to guest rooms and assist with guest room cleaning as needed.
Greet guests warmly, authentically, and professionally, and respond to guest needs with a service-focused attitude.
Assist other Housekeeping team members as needed to support cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel.
Follow established safety, sanitation, chemical handling, and equipment operating procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
