About The Position

Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Public Areas Attendant to join Hotel 1928. The role is responsible for keeping the hotel’s public spaces clean, neat, and welcoming for guests. This includes restrooms, hallways, stairwells, the lobby, elevators, and the Front Desk area. Public restrooms must be inspected once per hour. The attendant also delivers requested items to guest rooms and assists with cleaning guest rooms as needed, while greeting guests warmly and authentically.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, and stairwells, to meet quality standards.
Clean bathrooms; dust furniture and pictures; and vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
Empty carts of soiled linen and dispose of trash.
Keep the lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area clean, neat, and free of rubbish and debris.
Clean and maintain public restrooms in a neat and orderly fashion.
Inspect restrooms once per hour to ensure they remain neat and clean.
Remove spots, insects, and debris; polish fixtures; and clean ashtrays.
Deliver items to guest rooms upon request and assist with cleaning guest rooms as needed.
Greet guests in a warm and authentic fashion.
Perform other duties as assigned.
