About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Public Area Attendant to help maintain clean, neat, and welcoming hotel public areas. The role supports the company’s service culture by prioritizing guests’ needs and providing attentive service. Duties include cleaning and maintaining public spaces and restrooms, communicating with team members by two-way radio, delivering requested items to guest rooms, and assisting with guest-room cleaning as needed.

The position requires a minimum of a high school education and one year of housekeeping experience. Candidates should have an outgoing personality, communicate effectively verbally, work well as part of a team, exceed guest expectations, and maintain a customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, and stairwells, to meet quality standards.
• Clean bathrooms; dust furniture and pictures; vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Empty carts of soiled linen and dispose of trash.
• Use a two-way radio to communicate efficiently and ensure tasks are prioritized.
• Keep the lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area clean, neat, and free of rubbish and debris.
• Clean and maintain public restrooms, checking them once an hour to ensure they remain neat and clean.
• Remove spots, insects, and debris; polish fixtures and clean ashtrays.
• Deliver items to guest rooms upon request and assist with cleaning guest rooms as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
