About The Position

The Public Attendant ensures the hotel’s common areas consistently meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest comfort. The role maintains lobbies, restrooms, hallways, elevators, and outdoor spaces, contributing to guest satisfaction, the hotel’s reputation, and operational excellence. The attendant also creates a welcoming environment by paying close attention to detail and providing hospitable guest service.

The position requires successful completion of a background check before employment. Other duties may be assigned.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or public space cleaning.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, corridors, stairwells, and elevators.
• Keep public restrooms stocked and sanitized throughout the day.
• Clean and maintain furniture, fixtures, windows, mirrors, and décor.
• Greet and assist guests professionally, including providing directions or information about hotel amenities.
• Identify and report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns to the supervisor.
• Address safety hazards, such as wet floors or loose fixtures, immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
