About The Position

Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Cook to join Hotel 1928 and its hospitality team. The role prepares food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets according to specifications, while maintaining food safety, sanitation, organized storage, and accurate inventory rotation. The cook works with a manager on specials and menu variations and may perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of food preparation health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Ability to exceed guest expectations.
• Ability to multitask.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cook experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility.
• Keep food storage areas organized and clean.
• Handle and store all food items properly at the conclusion of the shift.
• Rotate inventory properly.
• Prepare food according to specifications for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets.
• Maintain clean, orderly storage areas and product pars.
• Work with the manager to create specials and other menu variations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
