About The Position

Provides food and beverage service in the assigned outlet, including setup, breakdown, and cashier functions. The role includes serving guests, maintaining restaurant cleanliness and supplies, following restaurant and hotel standards and procedures, and prioritizing guest satisfaction. This position is seasonal.

Responsibilities

Greet guests according to standards.
Explain daily specials, take orders, and serve food and beverage items.
Prepare checks, collect payments, and follow cashiering procedures.
Understand and follow department and hotel standards.
Replenish service items such as silverware, glasses, china, and other general supplies.
Keep the restaurant clean at all times.
Clear and set tables and chairs.
Set up the work area and other stations with necessary supplies, such as nuts, napkins, and mixers.
Retrieve food items from the kitchen and beverages from the bar or Norma’s bar area.
Collect dirty items and take them to the dishwasher, and break down the service area.
Assist other servers with pre-bussing tables and serving guests.
Check that the music system and lights are working properly.
Wipe tables and chairs whenever necessary.
Make guest satisfaction the top priority.
Follow the restaurant’s standard operating procedures.
Perform other tasks as required.
