About The Position

The Server is responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences through friendly, attentive, and personalized service. The role includes guiding guests through the menu, taking and delivering food and beverage orders, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring that service, presentation, and food quality meet the resort’s standards. Servers collaborate with kitchen and bar staff and help maintain a clean, organized dining area. The position requires working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and standing for extended periods.

The role is at Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort, a beachfront resort in Kauai, Hawaii. Davidson Hospitality Group offers a sign-on bonus of $150 at hire, $300 after 90 days, and $500 after six months. The stated salary is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Meet the minimum age requirement of the jurisdiction.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required.

Nice To Haves

• Six months to one year of serving experience preferred.
