About The Position

The Restaurant Server waits on tables promptly and courteously, serving guests according to Omni Moments of Service Standards. The role is based at Trevis in the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate and involves greeting guests pleasantly, learning the restaurant’s menus and beverage offerings, presenting and selling wine, and completing station setup, breakdown, cleaning, and other assigned side work. The position works in indoor and outdoor settings and may involve exposure to weather, extreme temperatures, food and beverages, and hazardous cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of upscale casual serving experience.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer.
• Experience selling and presenting wines.
• Knowledge of alcoholic beverage mixes, such as Mojitos and Cosmopolitans.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and other associates.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for up to eight hours.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Wait on tables promptly and courteously and serve guests as needed.
• Follow Omni Moments of Service Standards.
• Greet guests pleasantly with a smile and use surnames when obtained.
• Maintain full familiarity with menus and knowledge of beverage offerings.
• Set up and break down the station and complete assigned side work.
• Polish and clean water glasses at the assigned station before opening hours.
• Present and sell wines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
