About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Wellington located at 1051 Kent St, Liberty, MO 64068. This part-time position involves creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing for meal services, maintaining cleanliness, and observing resident dining habits. The role requires a positive and energetic attitude, the ability to communicate effectively with residents, and physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

Requirements

• At least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
• Bus tables and sweep floors.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
• Assist persons after a fall.
