About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at Boulevard St Charles in St Charles, Missouri. The role focuses on welcoming residents and helping create an inviting dining experience where residents can connect. Servers prepare for meal service, assist with serving and dining-room upkeep, and communicate notable changes in residents’ appetites or meal attendance to supervisors and Wellness.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
• Have a positive, energetic attitude and a strong interest in serving residents.
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
• Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
• Be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, make them feel welcome, and be present in the dining room.
• Mingle with and entertain residents and foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads for upcoming meals, and silverware.
• Bus tables and sweep floors to keep the community dining area tidy.
• Tell supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed.
• Report when residents are absent from meals.
