About The Position

Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern is seeking a Server to provide hospitable, proficient service in a fun, fast, friendly neighborhood tavern. Servers are expected to make guests and fellow associates “Raving Fans” through a positive attitude, creative mindset, teamwork, thorough knowledge of food, wine, and liquor, and proficiency in service procedures. The role emphasizes hospitality, kindness, positivity, and a “Yes is the Answer!” approach while supporting the restaurant’s associates, guests, purveyors, partners, and communities.

Responsibilities

Report to work on time as indicated on the work schedule.
Wear a uniform that meets restaurant requirements and keep it maintained and clean.
Maintain positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during work shifts.
Exemplify hospitality standards and answer guests’ questions about the restaurant.
Handle guest requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
Cooperate with management and coworkers and assist others with duties when needed.
Communicate suggestions for improvement in a positive manner.
Follow national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
Report potentially unsafe conditions and use materials and equipment properly.
Know the restaurant’s emergency procedures.
Perform all duties and maintain knowledge of the standards and procedures in the associate handbook.
Maintain thorough product knowledge of food, wine, and liquor and proficiency in service procedures.
