About The Position

Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern is seeking a Host to create a positive first impression and make guests feel welcome in person and over the phone. The Host manages seating in the dining room to support service quality, guest satisfaction, and sales opportunities. The role also involves exemplifying hospitality standards, answering guest questions, and handling requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.

Responsibilities

Create a positive first impression and make guests feel welcome in person and over the phone.
Control seating in the dining room to support service quality, guest satisfaction, and sales opportunities.
Answer guests’ questions about the restaurant and handle requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
Report to work on time according to the schedule and maintain the required uniform, personal hygiene, and cleanliness.
Cooperate with management and coworkers and assist others with duties when needed.
Communicate suggestions for improvement in a positive manner.
Follow national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines; report potentially unsafe conditions and use materials and equipment properly.
Know restaurant emergency procedures and maintain knowledge of standards and procedures in the associate handbook.
